This year, the 61st Croatian and 21st International Symposium on Agriculture (SA 2026) is devoted to Smart and resilient agriculture – Safety for future generations.
Join us for this event organized by the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, in collaboration with numerous esteemed co-organizers.
From 31 May 2026 to 5 June 2026, on the beautiful and consistently inspiring island of Brač, agricultural experts from Croatia and abroad will be afforded an exclusive opportunity to discuss recent agricultural trends in symposial sessions, round tables, and workshops, to strengthen their collegial and collaborative endeavors, and to cultivate new friendships while networking during the Symposium’s social events.
Our primary goal is to showcase the groundbreaking scientific, professional, and educational work of Croatian and international experts, facilitating the seamless transfer of these achievements into agricultural production. This event also aims to foster enhanced collaboration among scientists from various universities, research institutions, universities alliances, and industry specialists, including producers from Croatia, Europe, and beyond, all united by a shared passion for advancing science and agricultural practices.
By foregrounding the themes of animal and plant production, food production and quality, agroecology and regenerative agriculture, biodiversity conservation, agribusiness and smart agriculture, as well as youth and education in the life sciences, this Symposium will once again constitute an outstanding agricultural think tank and a premier event to attend.
